Jessica Simpson is officially a mother. She gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson this morning. The speculation about when Jessica Simpson was going to pop has come to an end. The Fashion Star mentor and her fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed a baby girl in Los Angeles today. Little Maxwell weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 oz. and is 21¾ inches long. Simpson made the announced about the new addition to her family via this statement on her website. “Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!” According to People.com the little tyke got her moniker from her father and her grandmother. Maxwell is apparently Eric’s middle name and Drew is Jessica’s mom, Tina’s maiden name.
